Homemade Bread Pizza Recipe


Ingredients:

• 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or multigrain)

• ½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

• ½ cup mozzarella cheese (grated)

• ½ teaspoon oregano

• ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

• ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder

• ¼ teaspoon salt (as per taste)

• ½ teaspoon butter (for toasting)

• ½ teaspoon garlic (finely chopped, optional)


Toppings (as per choice):

• ½ cup capsicum (chopped)

• ½ cup onion (sliced)

• ½ cup tomato (chopped, seeds removed)

• ¼ cup boiled sweet corn

• ¼ cup mushrooms (sliced)

• 4-5 olives or jalapeños (optional)

Instructions:


Step 1: Prepare the Bread Base

1. Heat a pan or tawa on low-medium heat.

2. Lightly spread butter on one side of each bread slice and toast it for a minute until slightly crispy.


Step 2: Assemble the Pizza

1. Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on the toasted side of the bread.

2. Add a layer of grated mozzarella cheese.

3. Arrange the toppings of your choice evenly over the cheese.

4. Sprinkle oregano, chili flakes, black pepper, and salt for extra flavor.


Step 3: Cook the Bread Pizza

1. On Tawa/Pan: Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts.

2. In Oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 7-10 minutes or until the cheese melts and turns slightly golden.


Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

1. Carefully remove the bread pizza from the pan or oven.

2. Garnish with extra oregano or chili flakes.

3. Slice and serve hot with ketchup or garlic dip.
